Kaye Rubio, Ph.D., MHS, OTRL, CLT has 8 years of clinical experience in lymphedema and 17 years of clinical experience in OT. She, along with an OT colleague, developed the outpatient lymphedema program at HCA Palms of Pasadena in Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of the Philippines, Master of Health Science degree from the University of Florida, and Doctor of Philosophy from Texas Woman’s University. Dr. Rubio also completed extensive training in the Model of Human Occupation, which is the theoretical basis of her research. Her current research explores the use of the Remotivation Process in breast cancer survivors with lymphedema. Dr. Rubio has 5 years of teaching experience and currently serving as adjunct faculty at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa Bay, Florida.
