PT 642: Defining Framework for Measuring, Planning and Delivering Lifestyle Intervention

Course Overview
  • The purpose of this course is to help students formulate a framework for evaluating health status at a community, employer, or individual level in a way that is concrete and leads to an actionable program or plan of care to improve health outcomes.
  • Section 1 (3 parts) of this course will review and evaluate current practices for employee wellness programs and health risk assessments, as well as propose a modified framework for measuring health status.
  • Section 2 (2 parts) of this course will lay the groundwork for designing and planning responsive programs for behavior change interventions, as well as, look at the importance of developing and tracking metrics to report on results.
