Cindy Meyer

OTD, M.Ed., MS, OTR/L, OTA

Cindy Meyer is currently the Dean of Health Science at South Arkansas College. She has worked in academia for over 20 years. She worked in clinical settings for over 10 years, mostly with older adults and with those with mental illness and mental health related needs. She received her AAS in OTA from Milwaukee Area Technical College, her BS in occupational therapy from University of Tennessee – Memphis, and her ppOTD from Eastern Kentucky University. She also has an MS in rehabilitation science with an emphasis in clinical practice management and an M.Ed. in Higher Education. She is the co-author of Early’s Mental Health Concepts and Techniques for Occupational Therapy, 6^th edition. She lives with her husband and two dogs and has two adult daughters.
