Continuing to the doctoring level should not come at a sacrifice to family, career, or personal wellness. The tOTD degree allows you to balance work, life, and career advancement to help you achieve your professional goals. Courses are online and on your time. You can view and review them anytime within a 15-week semester.
Course assignments can be completed any time prior to the deadline and an active discussion forum promotes peer review, professional growth, networking and collaboration to improve your delivery of patient care. All but one course is online. There is one on-site seminar that is one weekend long and allows for face-to- face connection with faculty members and enhances your opportunities for personal networking with classmates.
As the saying goes, “a rising tide lifts all boats.” This tOTD program provides a critical career advancement pathway for therapists trained at ACOTE accredited schools as well as foreign Universities. Foreign-trained therapists looking to meet license requirements can take any single tOTD course to meet deficiencies for credentialing. Enrollment is also open to foreign-practicing therapists looking to attain an OTD but continue to practice in their native country.
The e-learning education format allows Master’s educated occupational therapists to advance to the doctoral degree while keeping in mind the budgetary and time constraints of a working health professional.
